Our friends at Eos Lightmedia have created a Google Map labelling all the best light displays Vancouver has to offer during the Olympics. With the low environmental and high visual impact that LED technology provides more and more designers are using this light to create beautiful displays. Whether its highlighting an architectural piece or creating art LED''s are finding their place in ways we couldn''t even dream of 5 years ago. Take a look at the map and take some time to admire the lights Vancouver has to offer.

The Best Christmas light displays in Vancouver
And they're not even ours.

Some people share our passion for Christmas lights. While we have made a business out of it, some people do it for the shear pleasure of it all. They've been building their collection of lights for years. They're diligently combing the shelves for all the marked down after-Christmas sales, just so they can add to their display for the following year. And soon as halloween is over, the bins and boxes come out, the staple gun gets reloaded and winter wonderland of light begins to take shape. It's these people that bring smiles to the childrens faces, and make the old feel young again. We can feel the warmth and the imagination expressed with 20,000 blinking lights.

The Vancouver Sun has compiled a list of all the best displays in the Greater Vancouver area. So fill your car with family and friends and take a drive. Don't forget the hot chocolate or the Christmas carols and enjoy the show!

Christmas Lights vs. Guitar Hero
In the future I imagine a world where a man takes his love for extravagant Christmas light displays and his love for video games and weave them together in to one amazing, spectacular and magical evening. In the future, I would live in that world.

How To Paint The Town Red Vancouver!
Even if you lived under a rock, as long as that rock is in Greater Vancouver, you know the 2010 Winter Games are coming very soon. You can feel it in the air and the excitement is starting to build. The world will be watching soon, and the spirit of unity and competition will blanket our city.
Being the host city we have the unique opportunity to support out athletes with more flags, more painted faces, more cheering, more tears of joy and more pride than ever before. The Canadian Olympic Committee want all Canadians to join together in national pride with their Paint The Town Red campaign. They are simply urging Canadians to support our athletes with more "Red". Here's a short video from the Canadian Olympic Committee...

Because of the excitement surrounding this, we would like to urge Vancouver to Light The Town Red!
We are developing a special "Red" Christmas Light package that will be announced shortly. Please stay
tuned for more info on that, but until then here is a sneak peek at the logo we will be using.
