We are in a industry where some people are still hearing about it for the first time. So when we tell people we can take care of their Christmas light display for them, we get a lot of “You can do that? Oh thank you!” We’ve spent years hanging lights, climbing ladders, hiding extension cords, clipping clips, zipping zip ties, wrestling with shrubs and we still come back every year for more. We are our own worst critic.
In most cases, you will be happy before we are happy. When we are happy, you will be really happy.
We are likely to make suggestions on what color combinations to use and most likely have an opinion on which shrubs will look the best lit up. As for what you should do with all the extra free time you get from having us put up your lights, may we suggest dipping into the Egg-nog a little early?
The environment is very important to us. We work almost exclusively with energy efficient LED lights. We recycle all old and broken lights. We have even been known to utilize Google Maps Street View to give over the phone estimates. Basically, we care about the environment just as much as you do!
If there’s one person that loves Christmas lights more the we do, it’s a kid.
Children get the most joy from what we do. It is that child-like excitement for Christmas lights that helps get us out of bed in the mornings. (Especially on lovely rainy Vancouver days) That’s why we like to give back to non-profits that work with kids. We regularly donate lights to children’s summer camps and have worked with several charities that benefit the Kids Help Phone. Do you remember looking at Christmas lights when you were a kid?
